Of Dwarves and Dragons

Dwarven Prince Kroegan wants nothing to do with the elf who shows up at his stronghold claiming to be a member of the Royal Family of Sho.

Princess Tetsu wants to investigate mysterious ruins in the desert, which are said to contain dragon bones.

Kroegan’s life takes an unexpected turn when Tetsu convinces his grandmother to send him along on her adventure. Determined to oust this imposter princess, Kroegan must navigate crumbling ruins, encroaching enemies, and ancient magic, all while maintaining his family's honor. Can an elf and a dwarf truly be friends, or will dragonfire consume them both?

A Songbird’s Tale

Jaren once lived the thrilling life of an adventurer, saving the innocent and slaying foul monsters all across Tigraen. But now, blind and haunted by past failures, he ekes out a lonely existence as a hermit in the forest. His only companion is a tiny, loyal songbird.

Fate is not finished with Jaren.

An ancient demon is rising to power once more; a demon Jaren believed defeated. Fueled by sacrificial offerings from a fanatic cult, the demon’s dark influence grows. If no one stops the cult from unleashing it, Tigraen will be consumed by war and hellfire.

Desperate to save his forests, a wild fey implores Jaren to recommence his life as a hero – for only Jaren holds the key to the demon’s defeat. This quest would be nearly impossible for an entire group of warriors, let alone a single blind man. But Jaren is not eager to revisit the darkest parts of his past.

With Jaren reluctant to take the quest, the fey transforms the little songbird into a beautiful maiden to send in Jaren’s stead. Armed with more curiosity than common sense, a naïve but determined Songbird is unwavering in her quest to vanquish the demon and save Tigraen.

Jaren is thrown into an impossible predicament — let Songbird charge forth alone to certain death or join her and take up his sword once more. Jaren will have to risk not just his life but his heart as well if he hopes to be victorious this time around. Can a broken warrior and a hopeful Songbird slay the demon and save the day, or are they fated to ruin and heartache?
